Lovely place for best Indian cuisine

Had first delivery from the Golden Bengal for a while and it was excellent. Chicken Shashlik and Paneer Tikka Jalfrezi were among the highlights.

Appears to have gone downhill recently, waited over an hour for food after being told ‘only ten more minutes’ multiple times. Although unable to cater to customers both in the restaurant and to take away they continued to take orders over the phone promising a thirty minute wait? Food was fine but lukewarm. Won’t be bothering to come again.

Not a patch on what it used to be. Portion sizes have shrunk especially on the Kebabs. But yet they charge more!

Food was truly POOR, the spices in each dish had been burnt to within an inch of their lives, service was very bad and we were the only table in their on a Wed night at 7pm, go to the one in Westerham!! Absolutely delicious food. Delivered promptly. All the dishes were enjoyable and it exceeded our expectations.

Me and my partner get takeaway from here all the time, best Indian food I've ever had. Couldn't recommend enough and they always remember their regular customers! 10/10 service! :)

Another lovely meal here at the Golden Bengal, this time for the husband's birthday. The staff are really helpful and kind to our children, and I was pleased to be able to bring them with us on a Saturday evening. All dishes were delicious and the food arrived promptly even though it was reasonably busy. Will definitely return - probably quite soon!

Reasonable selection on the menu, disappointed not to see any fish dishes, only prawns. The food was delicious, very tasty, though I did find the poppadoms a little oily and the roti more like a nan.

A great local Indian restaurant. Special cooking that's above and beyond what you're used to. Lovely staff, who are clearly passionate about what they are doing. I actually had to leave a review just to help counter some of the silly poor review left by people who are either competitors or just plain wrong. We have been there for years. The food is always delicious and the meat always really tender which we love.
