It was the worst experience ever! I don't want to mention the name. First, no one has replied to my email for almost a week, not even to acknowledge that they have received it and deal with the request. Second,only when I called excuses started to flow in -that there is pile of other papers and work is on the table alredy, that the matter is needed to be " looked into". Thirdly, and most importantly, the courts instructions were ignored! The jobs were created by the solicitor herself without any instructions from the client. There was nothing to do- everything was already dealt with at last court hearing. The price , I was told at last hearing, would be reasonable and we agreed. But, the cost of unnecessary work was passed on to me! And I'm not even their client! What would they charge their clients? The bill was a small fortune for something that doesn't even require any work ( storing a passport in the safe) she did give me a huge discount though of course))))! Then, blamed on the colleague who had left the company for the amount of work she had to do. Perhaps if those kinds of jobs were not created, then other jobs would've been dealt with quicker to reduce the amount of paperwork on the table? But what do I know? I'm not a solicitor 😅 who charges £295 an hour plus VAT. I'm just a mum who cares for her child
