I attended Alex’s Promoting and Marketing your Website training. It was comprehensive and specific which is often hard to find. I thought Alex Ramsden's Digital Marketing Training session was AMAZING!!!! He certainly knows his subject matter around websites and digital marketing very well and his enthusiasm is evident. I thought it was very well run, with humour built in. I love the way Alex presents and how he presents and uses analogies to simplify what sometimes can be perceived as complex topics, for example, the chocolate donuts to explain how SEO works, as well as the red man and how he connects to the blue men - it really helps with understanding what to do with my own website. Visually, the method Alex uses was very good in explaining how things work too. I originally started building my site on my own. I'd thought I could do it - I'd had a blog in the past, can't be that different, right? After a full week of struggling with formatting, throwing in the towel and reaching for the wine, I found one of Alex's talks on Creating and Promoting a Website and booked myself in. The talk was excellent, but just reinforced all the stuff I didn't know, just how much I had to learn. I sat down with Alex after the session and asked if he could build me a site.
