This is a great company, I have been using it for 18 years now and I have never been failed, it has very well kept cars and very kind drivers, I often use them for airport runs and to pick my kids up from school! My husband loves Oxted Station taxis because they do airport transfers and he often gets taxis from oxted to Heatrow. They treat my family very nicely and are very down to earth, I often ask for a lady driver, they know the roads like the back of their hands, my kids always prefer them when getting a taxi. My oldest son who has not got a driving license uses them often and recommends them to his friends because this car company is the most reliable!!

Booked 8 seater for airport drop off & pick up, drop off ok but driver was not in terminal for collection as agreed (to save car park charge ?) so had to find him outside plus he had left one of the rows of seats for his 8 seater at home !! One of the adults sat on the floor as just wanted to get home after 9 hour flight but unsafe ... poor service

Booked a taxi with these guys, they confirmed to pick me up from Heathrow in the morning. Never showed up at the agreed time. I called and got through to one guy who was out of the office. He said he'd call me back - he never called back. I then rang them again and again, no answer. I've seen a few reviews saying they don't answer their phone when they don't turn up for a booking. Really dreadful experience. Completely untrustworthy.

Booked a cab one hour before it was needed. Explained it was for a group of young boys on their own. Left my sons mobile number as a contact. The train arrived exactly on time but no cab to meet them there. The driver whom I had spoken to only an hour before to make the booking had switched off his phone. At the booked time I rang the number 5/6 times and I texted - no reply. When I called the next day I was told that the driver was there but had left 5 mins after the booking, surely he would have rung the passengers?? Does not make any sense. Would give zero stars if possible. Boys waited in the rain for an hour and 20 mins until we could find another taxi. Avoid!

We have had an account with Oxted Taxis for almost ten years now and we have always found them to be very reliable and professional. The cars are modern and clean and drivers very polite. They are also the only company in the area that has lady drivers.

We booked Oxted taxis to take us to Gatwick and back recently. For the way there they arrived on time and took us there and back, however for the way back they didn't arrive - it was 2am they were due to pick us up and we phoned and phoned and no one responded at all! We text as soon as we landed following the first driver's instructions, but we were just left there and ended phoning for a different taxi.

Avoid these guys. I booked a cab for midnight on Sunday 30th August for a pickup in Godstone. It was all confirmed by phone and they took my mobile number and name. They didn't show up. I called them repeatedly but despite the phone ringing, the call cut off sometimes after 1 ring, sometimes after several. We were therefore stranded for an hour in the rain before we could get another cab firm to come out to pick us up.
